Event watchers

Watching events from above
Watching events from above during the Toronto International Film Festival

As the warmer weather approaches the city, more and more people spend their times outdoors. That only means, more photos to be taken!

While I only do a select number of events and festivals throughout the year, it’s always this time of year when things start to get busy little by little.

For those of you who do not know, in addition to shooting landscapes, I also shoot various events and festivals throughout the city under the monicker, The Festographer. It’s not only a great way to get out and shoot, but a great way to shoot under varying conditions that it keeps you at the top of your game. That’s what I love about this genre of photography.

I will try and sporadically introduce some of my event photography on this blog as well, and explain the stories and technicalities of the photos.

Bonus Offer

In the interim, for those of you who are interested in documentary films, I’ll be shooting the Hot Docs Festival this year, from April 23 to May 3. If you’re interested in seeing some of the films, comment below for your chance at winning a free festival pass. This pass allows you to watch all regular festival screenings for free!
