Outdoors
Taku’s passion for the outdoors has him photographing nature and landscapes in his hometown and throughout his travels around the world. Whether it’s hiking up mountains or exploring the grounds in -40 degrees celsius temperatures, Taku is always up for the challenge.
Events
No event is too small or large. Taku’s passion for capturing the essence of the moment has him photographing concerts to theatre to outdoor productions at large-scale festivals and smaller events alike. The Toronto Sunrise Series
What began as a simple outing with friends in the winter of 2013 is now a personal project that has Taku photographing the sunrise from various locations along Toronto’s waterfront no matter what the weather. His Toronto Sunrise Series documents the city’s waterfront at sunrise, and inspires others to explore their own neighbourhoods. Click here to view Taku’s Toronto Sunrise Series page.
Every year on the last day of Daylight Savings—first Saturday of November—Taku hosts the Toronto Sunrise Meetup. With a vibrant Toronto photography community, it’s a great chance to spend time with like-minded individuals. Check the Workshops page for the meeting spot for this year’s meetup!
