Three years ago, I hosted this meetup in February, and we all had a great time exploring the magical scenes of Niagara Falls. Many of you have asked me when I will host another one, so here we go! The 2026 Niagara Falls Sunrise Meetup is Sunday February 1, 2026! Get all the details below!

What: 2026 Winter Sunrise Meetup at Niagara Falls

When: Sunday February 1, 2026; Sunrise: 7:31am, Meet at 7:00am (or earlier)
Saturday January 31: Optional, based on interest
5:30pm: Social dinner at a restaurant TBD.
8:00pm: Photograph the night lights at Horseshoe Falls
Sunday February 1: Meetup
7:00am: Meet at Table Rock (come earlier if you can!)
7:31am: Sunrise along the Niagara River
Group photo, and free time to spend as you wish for the rest of the day. Leave as you wish.
The sun will rise down the Niagara River so we can see it rise above the river. This is a great time to see and capture the Horseshoe Falls and sun together!
Hilton Niagara Falls/Fallsview Hotel & Suites
Niagara Falls is so far! I’m glad you mentioned that. Since many people from Toronto might find it difficult to drive out to Niagara Falls in time for 7:00am, I have blocked off a very limited number of Compact King, City View Rooms at the Hilton Niagara Falls/Fallsview Hotel & Suites with a discounted group rate of $177 plus taxes! Parking is extra so consider carpooling if you want to save on parking.
Bring a friend, bring you partner, bring your family! It’s a mid-winter weekend getaway so feel free to book a room with someone else and split the costs.

Social Dinner on Saturday January 31, 2026, 5:30pm
This is completely optional and will only happen if there is enough interested people.
For those people who book a hotel room or are in the area on Saturday night, we can have a group dinner at a restaurant nearby. Dinner is at the expense of each individual. After dinner, we can take to the streets to photograph the light show across Horseshoe Falls!
