Who really is this Smaku character?

His real name is Taku, and he says he lives in Toronto.

Smaku is his online alias, and was given to him by one of his brother’s friends when he was growing up. The name stayed with him ever since and now, there’s no turning back from it.

Smaku’s World has been his portal to the Internet since 1995. It has stayed with him ever since, and will continue to stay with him well into the future allowing long lost friends and family members to catch up on what he has been up to.

He is currently a Creative Director at an independently published luxury magazine catered to the elite. He also runs his own design company, media Smaku, specializing in graphic design, magazine production, and photography services.

In his spare time, he self-publishes his own magazine, U&I Magazine, which accepts photography and written submissions from photographers from around the world. Although this venture is still a work in progress it has garnered an impressive amount of attention.

Taku is also an active executive committee member for a charity-to-be organization, Picture the Cure, which fundraises for cancer-related research.
