It’s been a pretty busy week this week. First with the passing away of Farrah Fawcett after she had succumbed to the wrath of cancer, and now today, just hours earlier, the death of Michael Jackson, the best selling male artist in history, selling more than 750 million albums worldwide.

It was a rather surprising news for most people as the news of his death came out of the blue. He had apparently suffered a cardiac arrest, and was pronounced dead upon the arrival of the paramedics.

Although I wasn’t a huge fan of Michael, I did grow up to his songs, and even bought an album or two of his back in the days. I’m sure this day will be remembered as the loss of one of the most influential artists of our time.
