The TPMG Frame Hunting Event
“I stopped caring,” someone said tonight. And that thought stuck in my head for a while afterwards. I think that’s the ticket to solving what my problem has been for a while now. Stop caring. Not completely of course, because then that would make things too obvious, if it isn’t already.
On another note, I enlarged my two photos that I will be exhibiting this Thursday at Futé Design’s showroom. I’ve never actually exhibited any of my photography work before so all this is quite exciting. And doing it with others that are in the same boat as I am is quite fun as well. I had dinner today with 4 others from TPMG, 3 of whom will be exhibiting as well. We went frame shopping after work. While others opted for the $55 frame at Toronto Image Works, I skimped out and will go with the el cheapo $24.98 at Loblaws. It’s not that I don’t care. I really do. It’s just that I don’t think these two photos are my favourites by any means. I would have cringed paying $110 for two frames that I don’t know if I’ll ever use again.
The chicken wings I had tonight were actually really good. Mmm… haven’t had wings in a long time. They were half price. The 5 of us got the Mega bowl of 50 wings for about $15. Not too shabby. With wrestling playing non-stop on the big screen, talking about exhibits and photography and TPMG gossip, what an interesting evening this turned out to be.
And to think, this is only Monday!
