Spring has Sprung!
So I tried hard to see how long I could go without updating my blog. Well, not really. As it turns out, the longer I neglected my blog, the more comments I started to get from my friends asking me what happened to it, and the more likely it was that my blog got hacked into by idiots who had nothing better to do than to exploit security loop holes in Wordpress blogs.

I’m happy to say though that after upgrading to 2.5, I feel much better. Consider it spring cleaning if you will. The weather’s been gorgeous the past few days despite the occasional rain. I love the smell of the air as the snow melts on the ground, the feel of the warm sun against your skin, and the sense that more and more people are starting to come out.

So what happened during the last 4 months?

Well, I won’t go through all of it here since that would take me until tomorrow to finish posting. But suffice it to say, I had a brand new start to the year, and I expect more new things to come my way in 2008. Good things, that is. Well, hopefully.

Here’s a quick snapshot for the curious:
New job: Going well so far. Commuting bites, but the job itself makes up for it.
Old job: I didn’t know how well I was received there until I went back there the other day for a quick visit. My quick visit turned into a 3 hour meet and greet with all the people that I had worked with. We caught up, laughed, ate, joked and felt good all around. I was welcomed back anytime by my boss. Nice feeling.
New living: I’ve been apartment hunting these past few weeks and I’ve finally found a suitable location and building that I would be happy to come home to everyday. It was hard to find just that right one. However, all good things don’t come so easily. I’m on the waiting list for a penthouse suite that would be my first choice. Another couple apparently claimed the unit last week saying they would take it from mid April. They have until next Tuesday to get all their paperwork in place and sign the lease. If they fail, then the unit is mine granted I have all my paperwork in place. However, to liven things up, the super told me he would be wiling to give it to me if I paid for half the current month’s rent and got my paperwork approved. Alternatively, if the other couple claims the unit by Tuesday, then I will get first choice for the same unit, except 5 levels down. So what should I do? Is a penthouse level suite worth a half month’s rent? Or should I just take the risk and wait it out until next Tuesday? What would you do?

More things will come in the near future and I’ll keep you updated as they come.
No really. I mean it.
